To reset the oil change light on a Citroën Grand C4 Picasso, first turn the ignition to the "on" position without starting the engine. Then press and hold the trip odometer reset button until the display shows "oil life reset". Release the button and then press and hold it again until the display shows "reset complete".
Thanks for further help. The fuel filter is not the same as that one in the picture you uploaded. Please see my two pictures. To access the filter you take off the three hoses and one electrical connector, then unscrew two screws on the rear of the filter cap which fixes it to the engine.
Yes, common problem on the 1.4 petrol I'm afraid. Everything you describe points towards head gasket. 107,000 miles is a good mileage to have covered - they tended to fail at random and without reason - we've done one as low as 16,000 on that engine previously. Hi, get the cooling system pressure tested.
The owner said that the "stop engine" light was on and a message saying "low oil pressure" The engine oil was changed along with a new oil filter when head gasket was done. Not leaking oil either, changed oil pressure switch but still the same. Only happens after 15-20 mins driving ie. When hot and only at idle or immediately after rev.
